Oh Jae-il of the Samsung Lions in professional baseball has lost 25 consecutive at-bats in the Futures League. The sense of hitting is now falling through the floor to the underground. The Futures League batting average has reached 8 percent.

Oh Jae-il started the game against Lotte's second division in the Futures League at Sangdong Stadium in Gimhae on the 27th.

Before the match, he had no hit in 22 consecutive at-bats, and Oh Jae-il had a day off as he failed to enter the second tier of the previous day's match. He managed his mental health and started again on the day, but his performance did not improve.

He had no hit in three times at bat, and his performance in the Futures League dropped to 8 percent (two hits in 25 times at bat). There is no sign of rebound. 

He struck out with strike-strike-ball-hustling in his first at-bat in the first inning. He hit the third pitch in the second inning with two outs and a runner on the first base, but was out with a grounder to the pitcher. 

He hit his third at-bat with no outs and a runner on the first base in the sixth inning. He hit his fifth pitch with two balls and two strikes, but he was out with a fly ball to the left field. He was replaced by Lee Chang-yong when he was in defense in the bottom of the sixth inning.

He is adjusting his batting sense in the second division, but he has fallen into a swamp with no hits in 25 consecutive at-bats. He hit his last hit against Goyang on the 12th. He has not recorded any hits since 15 days have passed. 

Oh Jae-il played in 11 games in the first division this season, and was sluggish with a batting average of 16.7 percent (6 hits in 36 times at bat), one home run and three RBIs. He was excluded from the first division entry on the 6th, and is trying to improve his batting performance in the second division.  

However, since he recorded his first at-bat hit in the game against the Goyang Heroes on the 12th, he has no hits in 25 consecutive at-bats. 

Oh Jae-il, who signed a four-year, 5 billion FA contract with Samsung after the 2020 season, is in his last year of contract. It is regrettable that he is in a deep slump to the point where the aging curve is suspicious.
